028 To get in the so-called "service mode" there are two options available for

031 In the TV-set itself is a 3-pin connector with which either SERVICE-DEFAULT or
032 SERVICE-MODE can be activated.
033 For the MG3.1E chassis this connector is depicted 0356 (SERVICE-PINS) on
034 page K7 (TXT&CONTROL). Shorting pins 1-2 will activate SERVICE-MODE.
