Faults that occur after the set has been on for a while (heat Problems)

These faults can be annoying, and difficult to trace

First RESOLDER,  RESOLDER , RESOLDER,
over half the sets I do, the cause is bad(dry) joints
true the transistors and other bits may have blown, but usually the
original cause is a dry joint.

HOT COLD Method
Then if that doesn't find it,
use the HOT/COLD method (like the wife after saturday night)
which , is to buy a can of freezer spray (with long thin spout)
(from Willow Vale Electrics, Seme ltd, CPC , or others).

the wait for fault to occur (use hair dryer to speed up process)
then spray an area, then wait 30 secs to see if any change
then another area and so on, when you get a response
spray a smaller area within the last area, and so on till part located
of course when you get down to a smaller area,
you can reheat with the hair dryer, to confirm
