  1. Problem 1 , Make:-Hitachi Model:- 42PD5300
    When displaying a bright picture there is a clicking noise,
    the brighter the picture ie lots of white the faster the clicking.
    During darker screens the fault clears. Sounds like a small relay switching on and off.

  5. Problem 5 Television Set VICEROY MODEL :NO. SCP-CR 2060 The line output transformer and line transistor are replaced.The HT -Side of the output transformer was burnt. There is another fault in the circuit. The transistor D1398 became very hot and switched off and came on again after cooling. To locate the fault I require a circuit diagram. Where can I get hold of such a diagram?

  6. Problem 6 :-LG plasma MZ42PZ13PSIL Have you any issues with the above model of LG plasma ? I have a unit that is stuck in standby (light is on).

  7. Problem 7 My Sony KL-50w1u Rear projection TV has lost brightness. The bulb has been replaced but with no effect. The TV is watchable but the contrast and brightness have to be up full and this still leaves the picture dim. Any help would be appreciated

Problem 8 Sharp ctv m#5450sn-bk, the set has healthy raster, and every key in the remote function except the function key, which i think has preset function. and the system buton when pressed switch off the set . there is 5v at micropro,i want to changed it but it was avaliable sda20561-a535[siemens ic, intel 80]. when set is on , slight touch to the xtal 11059.2 very close to the micro, will switch off.do any one has sub form sda20561-a535?

  10. Problem 10 :- I wonder if you know anything about this model,Tandberg 28TS544 and maybe if it is similar with any other model? chassie is called PC 170. After finding a fault, bad connection earth to CRT base, there is very bad illumination on screen, and I can hardly see the picture with full light. No or bad OSD. (Something happend after the earth fault)

    jvc c 21tx 1ek that works fine except that it is stuck in channel guard ie all channels are locked out presumably somebody has put the set in child lock and has forgotten the sequence to take it off . any ideas or thoughts/suggestions

  15. Problem 15 Matsui tv Model:- 28wn20 who makes this set really ? The tv is in standby and wont come out to play. It was working fine, it had a picture n all, that is till some clown pushed a few buttons on the remote and ZONK, .

  20. Problem 20 Grundig. CTF290FS Local Voltage:-240v or 120v-240 TV/Video/Audio/VCR/DVD/Combi-TV Tests done. Eddie on the power supply IC900 has disenteregrated. Would you happen to know the number on this 5 pin IC, Its mounted on A heat sink.It is a regulator. could you help? Thanks .

    Make:-Dual ;Model:- 2163 ;Local Voltage:-240 TV asda Please do you know of a place that sells parts especially the line flyback transformer .or just what firm really makes it ?? Thankyou

  22. Problem 22 Make:- Lodos Model:- LCD15TV 230v LCD TV (Purchased from Sainsbury - December 2003) This model has four LCD backlights driven by a GH027 inverter module. This has two inverters each with two ouputs. One inverter has failed, the surface mount device (3 legged fuse) has blown aparts. Similar device on other inverter has batch number and no type number. Could be transistor or FET. Therefore screen is running on two backlights only. I need to find a source of spare board or identify the blown device. Note that this took out an SMT fuse on the board which feeds both inverters. This is now replaced and the good inverter is still running. .
